Hello! Welcome to another Inkin’ Krew Blog hop! This months theme is Happy Birthday so I made a sweet springy birthday card with the Daffodil Delight stamp-set. I hope you enjoy the card and the hop!

It’s right about now, that I start to really ache for spring. The hopes of a warm March are full on in my head and I start impatiently waiting for warmer weather. Each year I think of March as warm and then when March gets here I am like, uhhh March is NOT warm ( at least not here in upstate NY). To begin this card, I used a card base of Misty Moonlight and cut a panel of On the Horizon DSP a 1/4 inch smaller. I then stamped the Daffodil images in Momento black ink on basic white card-stock.

To color the Daffodils, I used a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends duo and a Bumblebee Stampin’ Write Marker. I love the look of all yellow Daffodil’s but I also love the two tone, so I went with that for these. To cut them out I used my scissors and fussy cut around them. You however, don’t have to do that if you buy the beautiful dies that come in the bundle. Not only do they cut out these images, but they include dies to create your own beautiful Daffodil’s without stamping anything! They are definitely on my wishlist!!

For the panel of DSP, I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere that down and then Stampin’ Dimientionals to make those flowers pop out. The little Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Days to Remember Stamp set, and I love how it fits perfectly down there by those big flowers.

For the finishing touch I placed Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials on the side. I love how they look like little rain drops. Perfect for early spring. Thanks for stopping by! I know you will love what everyone else made as well!
