Hi! Everyone, sooo… funny story, with all the Christmas card craziness that has been going on around here, I gave away these two cards before I even got to photograph them! I took a couple pictures just to send to someone, so the post will not be totally without pictures, but they don’t really capture the whole card very well.
So to start out this card, I used a card base of Basic Black. It measured 4 1/4 by 11 scored at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2. I folded it in half and then folded the end back on itself and that’s how you get the Z-fold. You can play around and make the card look however you want, but this is the basic way to fold a Z-fold card.
Before I tell you about the products I used, I wanted to highlight how to get the look with products that are still available as many that I used on this particular card have been retired/sold out. These images use the Stamp set Evergreen Elegance and the embellishments are the metallic pearls. These are good options to replace the Peaceful prints DSP I used as well as the Christmas Tree dies.
Ok, now back to the card the way I made it. For the inside Matting, I cut two white panels measuring 2 1/4 x 3 3/4 and two panels of cherry cobbler measuring 2 3/8 x 3 7/8. The DSP is cut to 3 3/4 x 5 and is on a 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 mat. On the first panel, where I placed the tree, I used the Christmas tree dies to cut out the tree, and also the silver foil garland. On the second panel, I stamped the Christmas sentiment. I used liquid glue for all the matting and Dimentionals to pop up the tree.
The last part I did was the little flippy flap. For this I used the stitched so sweetly dies and the Merry Christmas stamp from theNovember 2021 Paper Pumpkin. The cherry cobbler mat measures 2×2 and the black base is 2 1/4 by 3. Thank you for stopping by to read my blog. If you would like to see me make this card check out my Business facebook page here
