Welcome to the Annual Catalog Blog Hop! Some really talented demonstrator friends and I joined up to showcase many of the new products coming out! I hope you enjoy everyone’s projects and get a lot of ideas for your wishlists! Paper measurements and cuts can be found at the very bottom of this post.

The card I made showcases the Hues of Happiness Suite, which includes a Stamp-set and Die bundle, Designer Series Paper and some pretty Glossy Dots for embellishment. I used a card base that is in one of the new in-colors, Starry Sky.

I used a normal sized card base (A2) but I used an easel fold instead of the normal book fold. This just means I used a piece of 11 x 4 1/4 sized piece of cardstock and scored it at 5 1/2. I then cut my little strips of DSP one for each side, and a panel of Basic White.

The flowers featured on the card are cut out with dies, and the images are from one of the pieces of DSP. They coordinate perfectly with the designs in the DSP, this page is one color scheme and there’s another with more reds/oranges etc. For the stamped images, I used Parakeet Party and Orchid Oasis. To create the look I just alternated the leaf images semi randomly on the basic white panel.

To assemble everything together, I used Stampin’ Seal to place the DSP on the back of the Basic White panel, and then the panel to the card base I also used Stampin’ Seal. Then for the flowers I used Stampin’ Dimensionals. A few for each bloom just to pop them up a bit. I hope you enjoyed my card, and I know you will also enjoy everyone else’s!
