Hello! We are here for the Inkin’ Krew blog hop once more, and this months theme is “Fall Frenzy”. I used the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set and I just love the detail that the stamped images have. The end of summer is approaching and I have always loved the anticipation of fall. I think it comes from the hope of a new school year as a kid. I tell my husband the only thing I don’t like about fall is that it comes before winter! I hope you enjoy the design I came up with today.

To start off I used a card base in cherry cobbler. If you aren’t familiar with how to cut a card base, you take an 8 1/2” x 11” piece of card stock and score it at 4 1/4” in portrait. Then you turn the paper to landscape and cut down the middle at 5 1/2“. This will give you two card bases from one sheet of paper.

Next, I cut a piece of leftover very vanilla textured paper from the retired Boho Indigo Product Medley at 4 x 5 1/4. If you didn’t grab this when it was available, you can achieve a similar look but using Very Vanilla card stock and embossing it with the Macrame 3D embossing folder or a folder you like better. I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere it to the card base.

To create the background piece I took a piece of crushed curry Designer Series Paper and stamped the large detailed pumpkin stamp multiple times on the paper in Cherry Cobbler ink. When you are doing a background, be sure to play with the orientation of the stamped image until you get the look you are going for. This piece was cut to 2 3/4 x 4. I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere this panel down as well.

For the final piece, I cut a piece of very vanilla using the Stitched rectangle dies, and stamped the Friendship sentiment in cherry cobbler ink first and then placed the leaves stamps underneath. I adhered the top layer on with Stampin’ Dimentionals for a little pop. Thank you for stopping by the hop this month, I know you are going love what everyone else has made too. Take a look!
