Sharing is caring!

Hello! Today I am sharing another Daffofil card but 3 ways. The first card I have is geared towards our newer crafters and uses mostly just Stamps, Ink and Designer Series Paper. The second is for our more casual crafters and the Third is for our more Avid paper people! I hope you enjoy them!

To start out, I cut a 6×12 piece of DSP into 3 pieces. My card base is measured 6 1/4 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 to maximize the beauty of the pieces of DSP. This paper uses a Very Vanilla neutral color, so my card base is also made out of that. Only 2 layers to this first card. The base and the DSP. For the stamped images I used the Daffodil Daydream stamp set and I stamped the butterfly in Mint Macaron and the sentiment in Pale Papaya. I placed some dimentionals on the paper and centered it in the middle.

This second card has the same dimensions, but uses an Evergreen Card base and a Very Vanilla mat behind the DSP panel. I stamped the spots on with Mint Macaron and used the Daffodil Dies to cut out the butterflies in Flirty Flamingo and Pale Papaya. Using a bit of Pale Papaya ink and my Blender Pen I added some detail to the embossed parts of the smaller butterfly. I adhered the layers similarly to the first card and used dimentionals for the butterfly detail. For the Happy Mother’s Day sentiment I stamped it in Evening Everygreen on Very Vanilla Cardstock. I then cut it out with a die from the Waves Dies. Threaded Evening Evergreen ribbon behind it and tucked it between the layers. To keep the label from flopping around I put a couple dimentionals behind it.

This last card is very similar to the casual card, only difference is I added the 3D daffodil using the Daffodil Dies, these are really neat because you can build your own daffodil with whatever colors you want. I used very vanilla, and pale papaya for the blooms and mossy meadow for the greenery. The dies take a little practice and getting used to. I can help you figure out which piece goes with what if you need. I also stamped and then die cut the butterfly because to me that’s a bit trickier than just cutting the papers out.

Here’s all three together, I hope you enjoy them. Which is your favorite? Happy Stamping!
