Hello! Here we are again hoppin’! Today’s card is part of a little group of items I made with the Hydrangea Hill Designer series paper. I just love how you don’t really have to do a whole lot more when the paper is soo pretty on its own. Our theme this month is For the Ladies/girls and so I thought I would make a Mother’s Day card that could also be for any of the wonderful ladies in your life.

I started by using the largest die in the stitched rectangle dies to cut the rectangles out. I used two different sheets of Hydrangea Hill DSP and then used Stampin’ seal to glue them to my card base. I used a white base, but you could use any color you want as you can’t even see much of it there.

Next I took my Ornate Garden ribbon and used liquid glue to attach it a quarter of the way up the card. I lined it up using my grid paper to make sure it was straight. For the sentiment, I used the largest two ovals in the stitched shapes dies to cut out the background and white panel.

I then stamped my sentiment from the Free as a Bird stamp set with a Gorgeous Grape Stampin spot. Lastly I placed mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on the ovals and centered them in the middle of my card.

I made two coordinating projects to go with this card to create a nice little gift. The one I made for a bag of coffee, but you could put it on wine or something else, and the other is made to fit a full size Hershey’s bar. My momma loves coffee and chocolate and I have definitely inherited that. Thanks for Checking out my blog! I know you will enjoy what the rest of the Krew made as well!
