Sharing is caring!

Hello Everyone! Today’s project is perfect to bring with you to any of the social engagements you go to during the upcoming holiday season. I used the Stampin’ Up! Ringed with Nature Stampset. Isn’t it great that things are safe enough to engage in again? You can place this card on a Wine or Champagne bottle, Sparkling Cider or Grape Juice, or even a seltzer bottle! I made this live on my Facebook Page this past Tuesday. If you are new here, I go live every Tuesday at 7:30pm EST. Check out my page here. I hope you enjoy my project! (All the way at the bottom you will find the card stock measurements.)

To start off, I want to give credit where credit is due, I found this beautiful design on pinterest from a gentleman named Jay Soriano from Mitosu Crafts in the UK and just LOVED it. I altered it some and made it into a wine card, but the stamp design is fully CASE’d from his design. The size of this card is that of a “4 bar” card which is most commonly used for thank you cards, Invitations, and RSVP cards. I just added an extra piece of Very Vanilla to create the tab that hangs it on the bottle. To create the space for the wine bottle, I used the Stampin’ Up! Lasting Label punch. I punched it two times, one from each side to create symmetry in the panel.

To create the stamped images, I started with the wood rings stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Ringed with Nature stampset. I took my Soft Suede Stamp n’ Write marker and only colored the size I wanted for the smaller image. I then stamped the full image next to it using my Soft Suede ink pad. I liked the look of it better when I stamped it off once so that the greens were able to standout more against it. Next I grabbed the Soft Succulent ink and stamped the more floral of the two branch designs. I used this four times, two up and two down. Next I did the same thing with the Evening Evergreen ink and the more leafy stamp image. I didn’t worry about overlapping because it will all be hidden behind the house out front. Lastly, I used the “Little card big thanks” sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship stampset, also in Evening Evergreen.

For the house, I used Early Espresso ink for the roof, and Smoky Slate ink for the house. I also stamped the house image off once to give a more subtle hue. After stamping the images, I fussy cut the house out (this just means I used scissors instead of a die or punch) and placed it on my card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The inside of the card is pretty simple. I stamped the full sized tree rings image in Soft Suede and the “Many thanks from all of us” sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship stampset, in Evening Evergreen.

The first card I made as my sample is truer to the design that inspired my project, but when I was live, I decided I really liked how it looked without the hearts, so I left them off. If you like the first one better, I used the heart from Ringed with Nature stamp set and stamped it in Mint Macaron ink. I once again stamped off the image so that it was a more subtle addition to card. For the final touches, I used Basic Rhinestones colored with a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend Marker on the first card, and Basic Pearls also colored with a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend on the second card. Between the sample and the live, I ran out of the basic Rhinestones. I really like it though with the pearls just as much.

For the last piece, I used a retired gold thread to make a little loopy addition. To be honest, I really just played with it until I liked the look, grabbed some tear n tape to hold it together and shoved it underneath the house in a gap between the dimensionals. While what I used is retired we do have a current item available that will give you a very similar look which is the Simply Elegant Trim.
