Hello! Welcome to Amy’s Inkin Krew Blog hop day for July! This months theme is ”Celebrate Summer” and I have a super cute summer swimming card for you today using the Hippest Hippos Bundle. I started out with the super cute swimming hippo and I was just playing around with the dies. One thing to keep in mind if you are planning to put this card together is that the water die (detail at the top of the Tahitian Tide panel) needs to be used twice if you want it across the whole front.

Once I got him the way I wanted him to look swimming I accessorized him with his scuba gear. Next I added our two sweetheart hippos on the bottom (cue the song from “Grease”) I used the Starry Sky DSP so that it looked like a summery night swim, and the rhinestones add that sparkle in the stars.

When you adhere the layers together, don’t forget to leave a little bit of the water free from glue so that you can stick the swimming hippo in. I forgot and luckily the glue was still wet so I could sneak him in there anyway! The water and the heart dies cut out those little pieces.
